This is interesting. The #Texas Penal Code makes no mention of conversion therapy on minors, yet § 35A.02(a)(7)(B) forbids providers from claiming fraudulent services. With no accredited provider seriously recommending conversion therapy, the statute thus presumably proscribes it as a medical treatment, rendering any new law redundant, not to mention the risk of said laws extending to counseling—an obvious constitutional no-no. Anyways, I go along with it, in the interests of having an open mind.
It's a little uncomfortable as it's a strip of fabric and a foot wide and ten feet long positioned across the bed about at calf position. It's also connected via a wire plugged into the building ground. You know for the grounding.
A week went by. No noticeable improvements in sleep. Partner takes it off the bed and contacts the company for a refund. They offer us 60% refund to just keep it rather than a full refund and send it back.
I'm pretty convinced that they still made profit and that shows what the real cost/value of it was. -
I love how when I look up 6G it talks about all these crazy futuristic applications like holograms but the only reason I'm actually looking it up right now is because im on a 5G connection which currently has only 10mbps upload and I need something that isnt totally dogshit for remote desktop 🤪

"More Americans are injecting themselves with unapproved chemicals that are pitched as ways to build muscle, rejuvenate skin and extend life, the latest example of the nation’s fascination with alternative therapies and wellness hacks.
Behind the trend is the surging popularity of GLP-1 weight loss medications, a class of so-called peptides approved to help users quickly shed pounds.
But the peptides being promoted by influencers, celebrities and wellness gurus are different: Many have never been approved for human use and much of their purported evidence comes from studies in rats and other animals. Several peptides, such as BPC-157 and TB-500, are banned by international sports authorities as doping substances.

Like vermouth in an extremely dry martini, except not so overwhelmingly vermouth-saturated. Not even vaguely tainted. "Wave the gin-filled martini glass in the direction of France" as Winston Churchill or some wit put it.

Just in case it needs to be said:
Practising all this #quackery gives some people psychological relief. By all means, please do what it takes to feel good.
Some people do tarantula poison, because it gives a high, and is addictive. It's a neurotoxin. It will eventually kill its consumer. But it feels good, from what I have read.
My point is limited to the fact that "multidimensional trauma healing", "womb medicine" etc. are not scientific even if practising and preaching them feels good.
