CW: P. aeruginosa moves by twitching motility towards antibiotics and other compounds that would kill it, possibly to try and retaliate with their own antimicrobials
In a #microfluidic flow cell #pseudomonas were grown on glass and exposed to an #antibiotic gradient (~0.1-9.9x MIC) via 1-channel of a dual inlet. Cells moved towards the abx in a pilG-dependent manner and died. #pyocin expression was observed and this is thought to be a competitive behaviour.
