Getting ready to given an exhibit tour to a group of people at Victoria Dock in London from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The exhibit was created in virtual reality using the Spatial platform. The exhibit includes 3D recreations of historical buildings, a 3D scan of a museum object, animated data visualizations, an early 20th century film, and a few dozen historical photographs. I don't want it to be percieved/dismissed as leftist revisionism. One idea was to make interpretive claims in the narrative history chapters more transparent by linking sources in our #archive. I'm also considering using #SocialAnnotation to make the sources in our archive more accessible. But that's as far as I've gotten . . .

Otherwise, I'm working on #WelshWritingInEnglish mostly from the long #C19, so there is lots of overspill into #RomanticLit and #EdwardianLit, #CulturalHeritage and #History of this small nation. Other research interests include #TravelWriting, particularly illustrated accounts and the history of the #VisitorsBook. I've also done some #PublicHistory work and community outreach during the recent #CommemorationPeriod around #WW1 German submarine warfare and its effects on Welsh communities.
