Jak podaje @growerocznice, dziś 21. urodziny Psychonauts, a tak się składa, że parę dni temu ukończyłem wreszcie część drugą. Czekałem na nią tak długo, że jak już w końcu wyszła, to... przeleżała na mojej hałdzie wstydu kolejnych parę lat. A niesłusznie, bo to sequel doskonały i gra co najmniej tak dobra jak pierwowzór!
Ponownie wcielamy się w Razputina, młodocianego psychonautę, który nie uczy się już wykorzystywania swoich mocy psionicznych na letnim wyjeździe, lecz zostaje wplątany w pełnoskalową intrygę szpiegowską. Klimat się więc nieco zmienił, a skala świata powiększyła, co ma szczególne znaczenie, bo czego tu nie zmieszczono! Przyjaźń, zdrada, agenci grający na dwa fronty, nekromancja, hipnoza, tony znajdziek, no i nie zapominajmy o zmyślonym państwie Grulovia, które szczególnie skradło mi serce. Wszystko to zostało napisane niezwykle lekko, ale jednocześnie błyskotliwie.

I hope I can go back to this level, I left some stuff bags untagged 😬 but this was definitely a fun start to this game! The Pillinko and the Hearts race were the most fun. This boss fight was also surprisingly fun. I figured it out a bit of by accident, after tapping the wrong button which turned out to be the right button 😄 -

Following up on my problem I think I've managed a solution. I installed the windows version and ran it through Steam Proton. Now I'm running on max settings and haven't had a single stutter.

I started Psychonauts 2. I'm loving the game so far, but unfortunately I am having technical issues. It's mostly stuttering which seems to be getting worse with each new area. Part of the reason I got the game was to stress my new PC, so it looks like I'll have to double check everything is working correctly.

First full game finished on the #SteamDeck too!
What a wonderful mirthful thoughtful little game, as the turn of phrase goes. A bit hard at times, but endlessly endearing—It sure wasn't meat circus!
Although, the very end of it felt a bit too rushed and convenient...
I hope rumors about a Psychonauts 3 being soonish turn out to be true, and that I get to play Rhombus of Ruin someday!
