It looks like we’re going to have a wind event here, today and tomorrow. The regulators must have told #SCEdison that they need to at least make an attempt to inform the public before initiating a “Public Safety Power Shutoff” (PSPS), so #SCE, pernicious as ever, has texted me at least 5 times, twice before 4:00 am. For those unfamiliar, #PSPS can be translated as “we haven’t updated our equipment for decades, so we need to cover our corporate asses”.
