New video from the Perthshire Society for Natural Science Curious Minds series: Next-Generation Batteries
Dr Rob Armstrong (University of St Andrews) spoke about research into battery chemistry - from the history of early NiMH, NiCd and Li-ion designs through LFP and on to sodium-based chemistry, with a focus on what's best for EV cars, recyclable for home storage and usable as part of grid infrastructure.
