Was ist der Unterschied zwischen Beute- und Raubkunst?

Bei Raubkunst handelt es sich um verfolgungsbedingt entzogene Objekte. Z.B. Bücher, die in der NS-Zeit jüdischen Personen enteignet wurden.

Beutekunst hingegen bezieht sich auf kriegsbedingt verlagerte Objekte. Diese werden während der Kriegshandlungen im Ausland gestohlen und in das eigene Land verbracht.

Im Zweiten Weltkrieg verbrachte der sog. Einsatzstab Reichsleiter Rosenberg Kulturgüter aus besetzten Ländern nach Deutschland. Nach dem Krieg sammelten alliierte Truppen die gefundenen in Collecting Points. Einer, speziell für Bücher, Archivalien, etc., war das Offenbach Archival Depot. Vieles wurde von dort restituiert, Restbestände kamen zur StUB Frankfurt.

Bei der Identifizierung von Provenienzmerkmalen sind Forscher auf den Austausch von Wissen und die Zusammenarbeit untereinander angewiesen. Eine wichtige Plattform ist die Datenbank Looted Cultural Assets.
In dieser Datenbank werden aktuell Daten aus 15 Bibliotheken in Deutschland und Israel veröffentlicht.

Hôtel Drouot networks 1941-1943: https://doi.org/10.14279/depositonce-17579

This data on auctioneers and experts at the Drouot auction house during the German occupation of Paris can be used for example for network visualizations, the screenshot shows it in Graphcommons, which I personally don't use anymore, but it can be visualized in any tool.
