Ich war vorhin mal an meinem Debian Testing Rechner, um nach Updates zu schauen.. habe mir mal den Spaß erlaubt, Protracker zu installieren.. das war damals 1990 mein erstes Tracker Programm auf meinem damaligen Amiga 500 Computer gewesen, mit dem ich Songs komponiert hatte..später ab 1991 dann mit Oktalyzer..❤️

In the last few days I've focused on the sound fx and the music.
I've added the door's sounds (open, close, locked, key required) and I created a new music for the room 19.
I got mad with the #ProTracker commands 😅
I also fixed a couple of bugs and tested the dialogue commands that allow color effects to be manipulated.
In room 19 there is a light glitch to simulate broken neon lights, a switch that the player need to push, is also used to turn off the light effect. -
Sowas findet man eher selten als #Torrent eine ganze Ladung an Tracker Mods. Das ist garantiert KI freie Musik. Mir ist jedenfalls bis jetzt noch keine KI über den Weg gelaufen die Mods generieren kann. Obwohl das eine spannende Anwendung in Sachen Musik Komprimierung wäre. Returning a bit to this LAiTE back catalogue release, here's a brief A/B video of the Amiga recording (original) vs. Remastered version.
Mostly comparing for treble here. Both versions are processed through same final mastering chain, namely TDR Nova GE and TDR Limiter 6.
Remastered version is based on OpenMPT stem renders and thus is a bit brighter. Per track EQing applied too.
Waveform shape on the Amiga version shows clear signs of compressor treatment (DBX266A). Overall waveform offset is probably caused by minor dc offset variation in the sampled sounds.
