I've seen dozens of not hundreds of posts over recent years with people complaining about GoogleTV's or FireTV's "ad-riddled" interfaces. I have so many streaming services that if I didn't have banners telling me what just arrived on service X I'd have no way of ever knowing about it until maybe days or weeks down the line. I for one appreciate these interfaces. Ads sure, but also *news*.
Sometimes “simplifying” things just leaves you in mild ignorance. #appletv #projectivy #wolflauncher
