What is "Drained weight" supposed to indicate? Does it have a legal meaning?
It was only a small can of tuna and a cheap one at that, but I was curious, so I weighed the tuna meat.
92 grams compared with the 102g on the packaging.
I wasn't expecting accuracy, and the scales might be off a little and a few specks of fish stuck to the sieve. But neither was I expecting it to come up 10% short.
