Put cleaning liquid in syringe, warmed it up under warm faucet, pushed air out, pushed warm cleaning liquid in, let it sit for 5min. Then held print head upside down (so air will be at the top), pushed yellow ink through. Clean up. Yellow works again, but works a bit too well. #printers #hp

I hate printers. You need them now and then, but they never listen, the big companies shove a load a crap down your throat with propriety stuff, bloatware drivers with unnessecary "features". I had this for 2 years, don't print much and yellow stopped working, all clogged up. #printers #hp

So I just printed a PDF from my phone from #Termux cause Android couldn't do it or something;

I just ran pdftops -level3 foo.pdf to convert,
then nc 10.0.0.66 9100 < foo.ps and it just printed.

Like that's all it took :neocat_aww:

I spent at least 15 minutes troubleshooting Android, but two simple CLI commands were all it took.

Thanks so much @termux this would have been a nightmare otherwise

Hmm, the new printer I snagged free from Craiglist for my son's house has more black ink than my (identical model!) printer. It does need cyan and yellow. Attempting remanufactured cartridges. (I need yellow too, lol.Probably magenta. I blame the color red). #random #hardware #printers
