So, I absolutely get Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky being #TIME #POTY. Few people impacted the news or the year as much as he did.
That said, apart from Xi Jinping or the Protestors in Iran, the rest of the runner up choices TIME had compiled were so American-centric. Also, none of them apart from Jinping impacted the world or news of the entire year nearly as much as Zelensky.
