Wow, we had a blast at the Bitter End tonight! A packed house for Dark Streets, with people singing along and hanging on every note. So much fun!
That's two gigs down with three to go for our St. Patty's weekend extravaganza! Tomorrow: Pogues on a boat (Ferry Tale Of New York booze cruise) at 1pm, and then Mama Tried in Brooklyn at 5pm.

I think I've just hit the wall, five days from the end of term. I might just go a bit silly this evening.
Listening to the #Pogues while at last starting to prepare dinner, for the first time since Shane died.
Have complicated feelings. Shane gave me a model for how to be when I hadn't a clue. I don't know what his problems were, and I'm still peeling the layers off my onion (as my darling @Lucia puts it), but drunken dissolution helped get me here, and I'm grateful.
