Anyone else playing Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Complete?

I'm much happier now that it's not flooding the screen with micro-transactions. While not perfect, it was still designed as a money-leech game after all, it's much better as a one off paid product IMO.

I've started playing Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete.

The social aspects of the old game have been retired, by you can scan my villager's QR code if you'd like him to stop by your camp. Share yours with me too if you want!

Previously, I was able to create a US #Apple Account to download some apps from the App Store that wasn't available in my region - including #AnimalCrossing #PocketCamp.

That works, for free apps. Now though, I'm trying to purchase the new #PocketCampComplete app that's also not available in my region. I couldn't simply just download it like before (with my US account), since I now need to add a valid payment method bcos the app isn't free.

My #Wise card has a US bank account (or "Jar") registered, but yea, just trying to add that card as a payment method is not working out. The card check/validation does occur, but always declined, presumably becos the billing address is Malaysia-based, not US. Any ideas on how to buy stuffs off of the App Store from outside of my region then?

Otherwise, I guess purchasing a US App Store gift card is my only option?
