Pinal County officials want more guidance on large-scale data centers before deciding the La Osa project, KJZZ reported August 13.

The decision is on the Pinal County Board of Supervisors agenda August 26 at 9:30 am in Florence, and Rural Arizona Engagement is asking people to sit in and watch it get made. Resident opposition already cut the proposal from 59 data center buildings to 11.

The 3,385-acre project includes 59 data center buildings and two gas-fired power plants, with major concerns about groundwater, electric bills, and environmental impact.
