i mentioned the setting bc i wanted to share this image of a beautiful new pigeon that just joined the flock yesterday

it has only shown up after feedings, so it's been hard to get a photo of

this still is also from video from my Murena Fairphone6 shot at 4k, 30fps (highest it has). but this was zoomed over 4x & the #pigeon was flying. so it's not a great image, but this pigeon is a beauty 😍

best i can tell, "my" pigeons' pecking order can be determined by proximity to my hands. even when there is not food in them, #pigeons will defend "their" position on my hand

i tried putting seeds out in the form 8647. that proved impossible

then i thought i'd try it one number at a time. you may be able to tell, this was supposed to be an 8 😅

i pretty much knew. when seed is spread out, the #pigeons don't necessarily spread out. they eat in a group and move down the line of seed essentially en masse
