The latest such reattempt from my #AbandonedBooks list is Devdutt Pattanaik's Jaya: An Illustrated Retelling of the Mahabharata. Having attempted the #PhysicalBook a few times in the past few years and failed to progress beyond the first chapter, I'm now attempting the #audiobook in Audible 🇮🇳. And I do get the irony of listening to the audio version of an illustrated retelling of an epic. Trust me. 🤪

#Readers will understand what I'm trying to say. Some #books defeat you. They are not difficult per se. The authors are not bad. The writing isn't bad. But somehow, one is not able to read the book. I have many such abandoned books in my #PhysicalBook, #ebook and #audiobook collections. Periodically, I reattempt reading such #AbandonedBooks. I'm planning to document such journeys here in #Bookstodon.
