About 8.8 million records from Denmark’s national register were compromised through Pays ApS, a technology services company that provides reporting services to the country’s central personal register (CPR).
Pays’ CEO confirmed that the records were extracted using the company’s access.
The attacker claims they gained access with the password “123456” and says they do not intend to sell or leak the files.
