The #US #FederalReserve has announced the launch of the much anticipated real-time rail (RTR) #payment system known as #FedNow which allows #Americans to send, receive & settle #funds in seconds instead of the current system where it can take several business days to complete a transaction.
Unfortunately here in #Canada, the RTR payment system has been delayed from a 2022 launch to maybe sometime this year. #PaymentsCanada has not set a launch time frame yet.
