Paradise Residential Services CEO Jocelyne Ininahazwe and her family enjoyed luxury Mercedes brands while the disabled Mainers who relied on the Medicaid agency for 24/7 care were living in squalor, subject to abuse and neglect by non-English speaking staff, including some who were untrained and never subjected to background checks.

That’s the chief takeaway from documents released Friday by the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), including a termination letter to Paradise that cited “violations [that] place the health and safety of MaineCare Members in immediate jeopardy.”

“[Paradise Residential Services] failed to ensure individuals are protected from abuse, neglect, and exploitation, specifically, lack of food, spoiled food, unsanitary conditions in the home, broken glass throughout basement, individuals have been repeatedly left without staff, staff not supervising or providing services,” according to the DHHS letter.

Records show Paradise Residential Services, terminated in March for failing to protect disabled Mainers from abuse, was founded by five investors: Jocelyne Ininahazwe, Juste Arakaza, Tresor Niyongabo, Enock Nijimbere Tshibungu, and Eric Nshimiyimana.

For a relatively small upfront investment, the crew of “New Mainers” hauled in $25M from 2022 to 2025. They were billing $400k per patient. That’s $800k in annual revenue for every middle class home they purchased..

At Marvelė in Kaunas there is a pagan horse cemetery with around 300 horses, most dating to the Viking Age. They had their own section, separate from nearly 1,600 human graves.

Federal Review Finds 90% Of Maine’s Autism Support Services Lacks Justification

Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Dr. Mehmet Oz revealed Tuesday that federal investigators have found widespread irregularities in Maine’s support services for adults with autism.

Speaking Tuesday during a Department of Justice anti-fraud press conference in Philadelphia, Oz said investigators have found that 90 percent of autism services provided by the blue state lacked justification.

“Yesterday I was in Maine,” Oz said. “We’re investigating home support services, just like you’re seeing here, for adults, in that case, who have autism.”

“We have massive increases that have grown to the kinds of numbers you could not imagine being able to show on a clipboard, with 90 percent of services billed and paid for—in Maine in particular—where there is no justifiable backup for it,” Oz said. “Nine out of ten services, you can’t justify they should have happened. It’s the opposite of what you’d normally expect.”

Ted Gunderson retired FBI special agent, former head of the Los Angeles field office

This video is probably from the late 1990s to early 2000s. Gunderson spoke repeatedly on this topic and also on the Franklin Scandal, which was a glaring case of mass child sex abuse. I happen to have personal information on one of the Franklin perpetrators, and thus have always found Gunderson believable; what he states fits with what I know happened. Sadly, his speaking out did little to correct the problem or change anything for the better. We seem to be in a similar situation today on all fronts. Child abduction and abuse is worse than ever. All of our institutions have been infiltrated and taken over. Even a united, very loud voice from the public will have little effect on those in control. Even one thousand Ted Gundersons today wouldn’t make a dent. IABN
