La chanteuse iranienne Parastoo Ahmadi, qui avait été arrêtée hier en Iran pour avoir posté une vidéo de son concert en plein air sans voile, a été libérée dans la nuit, de même que ses deux musiciens Ehsan Beiraghdar et Soheil Faghih-Nassiri, a annoncé ce dimanche 15 décembre leur avocat Milad Panahi-Pour au quotidien iranien Shargh Daily.
Pour rappel, la République islamique interdit aux femmes de chanter, et les oblige à se voiler la tête et se couvrir l’intégralité du corps. Le geste de Parastoo Ahmadi a été perçu à travers le pays comme un nouvel acte de résistance des Iraniennes contre les lois rigoristes en vigueur et contre le régime.

BREAKING: Iranian female singer Parastoo Ahmadi has been arrested after performing an online concert without a hijab.
According to the report, 27-year-old singer #ParastooAhmadi Ahmadi was arrested by Islamic Republic authorities in Mazandaran Providence and has been transferred to an unknown location. Two members of her band, Ehsan Beiraghdar and Soheil Faghih-Nassiri, were also arrested on Saturday, according to their lawyer.
Despite YouTube being restricted in Iran, the Caravanserai performance, held on Wednesday night has attracted nearly 1.4 million views over the past two days, with clips widely shared online.
#ZaraEsmaili another Iranian female singer and street performer has been imprisoned since July for removing her hijab and performing in public.
She was arrested on July 26th, when the authorities agents raided her home in Karaj.
Singing solo in public has been banned for women in Iran since the Islamists took over the country in 1979.
