2時間ほどの多肉狩りをしただけなのに、帰り道にドッと疲れていた。なんだろうと思ってたら、商品棚に並んでる１つ１つの多肉植物をよく観察してメモしたり調べたり、ウチにいる多肉植物の写真と見比べて名前を確定させたりしてたんだった。
先日、バラバラと寄植えされた鉢を買って、それぞれの名前がわからなくて自分なりにある程度“アタリ”をつけていたんだけど、今日、その答え合わせをしてみたらほぼほぼ正解してた。知らないうちに随分と見分けられるようになったし、詳しくなってきたんだなー。嬉しい♪
それでもまだ全然知らない属性の多肉植物もいっぱいあって、多肉植物が大好きだから、まだまだ知らないことばかりなのも嬉しい♪

This week’s #PlantMail potted up. It’s been a tough week with the #LongCovid fatigue hitting me particularly hard so they didn’t get potted up until yesterday afternoon despite having all arrived by Thursday.

- Echeveria Purple Delight Variegata (cutting)
- Echeveria Purple Delight Reverse Variegata (They are a whole lot lighter in person than the sales pictures and may not survive due to lack of colour through which to photosynthesise. Usually you’d leave practically albino ones like this on the mother plant)

Yesterday's meeting of my orchid society was especially good and not just because one of my plants won a ribbon (see previous post) and we discussed the upcoming show. I got a #Dracunculus vulgaris and a #Pinguicula esseriana from one of my main plant swapping buddies; I got a starter colony of #Blaptica #dubia #roaches from another member; I picked up a #Crassula ovata, #Pachyphytum oviferum, and some sort of small #Haworthia from other members; and I sold an old glazed ceramic orchid pot.

Yesterday's meeting of my orchid society was especially good and not just because one of my plants won a ribbon (see previous post) and we discussed the upcoming show.
