A few years ago, Kylie Minogue wore a Meteors T-shirt on stage. I love the Meteors; you don’t get to see the Meteors live – you just survive them. P.P. Fenech is known for his violent gigs – I’ve always liked that. One of the best live shows I ever saw was The Meteors at The Square Club, Cardiff, with a support from Long Tall Texans. I think this was some time back in the late 80s or early 90s. Live, lead singer P. Paul Fenech managed to mix a Shadows inspired psychobilly guitar with a vocal performance tinged with intense, and intoxicating, sense of real menace. Here they are live at The Gallery, Manchester, back in 1982. Enjoy!
