That is how I keep #TheMeteors in mind, right before they went mad.
This song is one of the few that I liked played with bass guitar rather than upright bass.
-
Still one of the best #TheMeteors #Rockabilly / #Psychobilly tracks before they went mad.
With Nigel Lewis on #DoubleBass. With the exception of the "In Heaven" album, this was their first and greatest performance.

Another all-time classic: The famous #BigBeat #RockabillyPsychosis album with appearences of #ThePhantom, #TheTrashmen, #TavFalco, #TheGunClub, #TheMeteors, #TheCramps, #TheGuanaBatz, and others.

One of the best live shows I ever saw was The Meteors at The Square Club, Cardiff, with a support from Long Tall Texans. I think this was some time back in the late 80s or early 90s. Live, lead singer P. Paul Fenech managed to mix a Shadows inspired psychobilly guitar with a vocal performance tinged with intense, and intoxicating, sense of real menace. Here they are live at The Gallery, Manchester, back in 1982. Enjoy!

@azedand2knots did you know that probiotics wrote and directed #Terrifier and #TheSoundOfMusic? They were also in #TheMeteors where they played upright bass!
