Last composition of the year turns out to be a salvage job: after recording in various tempi, I couldn't make them fit together, and normalized to 90 bpm. I also had to throw out my strongest theme, so we have a mood piece instead. And it's #microtonal and #justIntonation as well, if the initial multi-tempo plan hadn't been complex enough. You might pick up on #GlennBranca and #Ligeti influences in places (parts of the first piece for Branca, parts of the second Ligeti). Some later pieces pack an emotional payload. I'm inclined to say that *this* one might be my best microtonal guitar piece.
