Wer es nicht mitbekommen hat, #Bandcamp hat die #Subsonic API implementiert. Ihr könnt also jetzt mit etlichen verfügbaren Audioplayern, die das Subsonic Protokoll verstehen, direkt auf eure Musikbibliothek bei Bandcamp zugreifen (z.B. #Feishin, #Psysonic, #Symfonium usw.).

Noch besser und unabhängiger ist natürlich das Selberhosten der eigenen Musikbibliothek z.B. per #Navidrome

The developers of #Feishin , an #OpenSource music streaming app for self-hosted servers, announced the release of Feishin 1.12.0 this week. It brings several small but notable new features to the app that supports #Jellyfin #OpenSubsonic and #Navidrome servers.

@zef not selfhosting but doing so is possible with this setup.

I edit all metadata in #MusicBrainz #Picard, upload those to a #cloudstorage of choice (for me @transIP #Stack) with structured folders (genre -> artist -> album), then connect to @astiga and listen using #Subsonic compatible #FOSS software (#Feishin and #Tempo in my case).

The selfhosted version would be to replace the cloud storage & Astiga with hosting an #OpenSubsonic, #Jellyfin, or @ampache server yourself.
