Twin Cities Drupal Camp is underway.

CKEditor 5 is new in the most recent version of Backdrop CMS. At our last virtual user group meeting, we had a demostration of what is new in CKEditor 5 and how to manage the upgrade. It was VERY informative.
We also has a short 10 minute demo of the TinyMCE text editor module for Backdrop CMS.

2022 Year in Review
After many months of planning, we've implemented #CiviCRM on www.backdropcms.org.
This will have a pretty minimal effect for site visitors, but is a huge organziational win for the #BackdropCMS community.
Going forward we can use CiviCRM to manage our email newsletter, communicate with volunteers, and assist our new Marking committee.

This year, Steve Moorehouse released https://www.ubercart.dev/. This is an effort to capture documentation specific to the #Drupal 7 Ubercart module and modify it to fit the needs of the #BackdropCMS port of this module.
The #Ubercart community is active and alive for Backdrop CMS.

Another big moment for #BackdropCMS this year, was the opening of talks with the Drupal Association, around the possibility of collaboration to help #Drupal 7 sites move forward.

From a #BackdropCMS core development perspective, I think that getting the Entity Reference module into core was probably the biggest accomplishment of the year.
