I bought some years ago, an #Onxy boox Poke 3 #eBook reader.
I was buying it, because it has Android on it running, so you could run read it later (rip), public library apps and so on.
It's still really cool, but the update policy is pretty bad. The last firmware update is from 2023.
Because of that, and because I don't need it, I'm normally always offline. if I need the internet, I only connect to my own mobile, not a public wifi.
So it's still great, but i was hoping for longer updates tbh -

After reading the review of the Onyx BOOX Poke3 by @KelsonV I had a look at the BOOX range and ordered the BOOX Page. Here it is, on the right, next to my Kobo Clara HD.
So far, it has been good. I've installed the Android versions of Libby, Pocket and, yes, Firefox and they work fine. I've adjusted the E Ink refresh rates and button settings for the apps to work correctly.
Now on to more reading. 🙂
