ABC Audio: Taylor Swift-related word added to Dictionary.com. “It’s not like it’s a new word, but Dictionary.com has made it official: The word ‘Swiftie’ was added to the website as part of its Fan Favorite Winter Word Drop 2026. ‘Swiftie’ is one of the 1,500 words that the website has just added, along with similar terms ‘Beyhive,’ ‘Janeite’ and ‘Trekkie.'”

Mashable: The internet is worried about Punch the monkey. The zoo says he’s OK.. “After the incident, he returned to his stuffed toy briefly — then resumed interacting with the other monkeys. ‘No single monkey has shown serious aggression toward him,’ the zoo said. But the internet isn’t watching Punch as a zoologist would. It’s watching him like a fan.”
