It's the time of year when I start my Nutcracker countdown. Philly has a million nutcrackers in all sorts of versions, but the Philadelphia Ballet, doing the Balanchine Choreography, will always hold a special place in my heart.

This weekend's sugar plum fairy in the #VenturaCounty #Nutcracker lost her home to the #ThomasFire six years ago amidst performing in the same ballet production. I hope the current weather and fire conditions do not trigger any trauma. She is a Senior now and deserves to enjoy this last performance.
