Hosting in NZ?
My domain is due to renew with SquareSpace in 10 days. While not as urgent my site is built and hosted with them too. I want to get away from US and onto something local. Who does the #NZFedi suggest for this?
I'd ideally like someone else to do the migration of website too. Its a very simple site, just a 'billboard' of a few static pages. -

Mein Projekt #Aquarium 2.0 ist im werden. Am Dienstag wurde ein 146 Liter Aquarium samt Pumpe, Heizstab, Deko-Stein, Beleuchtung, diverser Pflanzen, Näherboden und Sand erworben.
Heute wurde dann eine dreifach Steckdosenleiste von #Nous in Betrieb genommen. Diese wurde per #Zigbee an meinem #HomeAssistant angelernt. Nun kann ich die Elektro-Geräte einzeln schalten und die Leistungsaufnahme im Auge behalten.Anbei der Link zu Steckdosenleiste:

Wer den Beitrag gelesen hat, weiß, dass ich bereits damals von der Stabilität und den Möglichkeiten, die mir Home Assistant bietet, begeistert war. Diese Begeisterung hat sich in den letzten 12 Monaten nicht nur gehalten, sondern ist sogar noch gewachsen. In meinem Smart-Home hat sich seit dem letzten Beitrag so einiges getan, sowohl bei der Hardware als auch bei der Software. Neue Geräte sind eingezogen, bestehende wurden optimiert und auch die Art und Weise, wie ich mein Smart-Home steuere und automatisiere, hat sich weiterentwickelt. Through the help of #Frient electricity meter sensor, power-measuring smart plugs from #Nous, some investigation, and circuit breaker toggling, I found out that my home has 120 watts of constant power leaking.
When every circuit breaker is off, the electricity meter continues to report power consumption.
My #HomeLab consumes 70-90 watts, for comparison.
Looks like I need an electrician.
