  1. "For those people in Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Baltic countries and other countries and regions who have experienced Russian colonialism, the uncritical glorification of many representatives of the anti-Putin camp in the West, the ignoring of their colonial mindsets and their defence of Russia also contains a fundamental message: Russian perspectives are still more important to us than yours."

  2. Who are "useful"? Those, who sincerely seek to help Ukraine, and not promote own agenda. This implies:

    - recognizing their people's guilt. #NotOnlyPutin
    - promoting the idea of russia's defeat and de-colonization.
    - actively supporting the AFU, either by fighting themselves, or volunteering/donating

    Examples of useful russians:
    Ilya Ponomarev, Katia Margolis

    Examples of useless russians:
    Ilya Yashin, Yulia Navalnaya

  3. Once again, #russian #propaganda throws an attempt at #psyops and reality distortion, this time targeting the Venice Film Festival. Please, take note and keep information hygiene.

  4. @partizan a great reminder that this is #NotOnlyPutin - it is russians at large.

  5. @Texty makes me feel sick… Great example that it is #NotOnlyPutin to blame for this war

  6. "So if you’re looking for the roots of Russia’s violence against its neighbors, its desire to erase their history, and its rejection of the ideas of liberal democracy, you will find some of the answers on the pages of Pushkin, Lermontov, and Dostoevsky."

  7. "But it’s Russia—and, more specifically, Russian imperialism—that presents the most urgent threat to international security. Now the bill of allowing Moscow to retain its empire, without any reckoning with its colonial history, is coming due."

  8. "The modern Russian propaganda state turned out to be the ideal vehicle both for carrying out mass murder and for hiding it from the public. The gray apparatchiks, FSB operatives, and well-coiffed anchorwomen who organize and conduct the national conversation had for years been preparing their compatriots to feel no pity for Ukraine."

  9. The war has shown the world the real face of Russia, Putinism and Russian society. The previously applauded epitome of “Russian Civilization”, “The Russian System” and the “Russian soul” have actually turned out to be oxymorons. Anti-civilization, anti-system, and a ‘demonic haze’ is a much more accurate way to describe the current state.

  10. Russia has been honing soft power tools for years. And did it successfully in different countries, not only in Ukraine. Russia is using every means to push and maintain its chauvinistic, imperial narratives in the world. Russia’s cultural expansion has often been a precondition for territorial expansion, military pressure, and terror.

  11. I am shocked and disgusted. When the world revealed #russian atrocities in #Bucha, here is what russians in Germany have done.

These are people with access to free media. People, who are beyond putin's reach. And yet, here they are, in all beauty.

Now, every time you try to tell me "it's putin's war, don't blame mere russians" - have a look at those images again and again. This is #notonlyputin.

  12. Russians just want to murder us, for being Ukrainians - they justify the #genocide.

The article in a government media (ria.ru/20220403/ukraina-178146), titled "What Russia needs to do with Ukraine", casually [sic!] suggests ethnic purges, eradication of language and culture and more! But of course - it is us they claim to be nazis. Oh, the irony.

  13. Initially, when #russia openly invaded #Ukraine after 8 years of hybrid war, I felt only cold wrath. Now, after witnessing the #genocide of my people over and over again, similar to what they have been doing to us for centuries, the only emotion that this and future generations of Ukrainians are going to feel towards russians - is pure, distilled, burning, razor-sharp hatred. With a sprinkle of concentrated disgust on top.

  14. CW: russian massacre in Bucha

After levelling #Mariupol to the ground, this latest massacre of civilians in #Bucha only confirms that #russian soldiers are not human beings - they are rabid animals, the actual naZis of XXI century. This is #Srebrenica #genocide all over again.

Remember, this is #notonlyputin - the vast majority of russians are in support of and cheer for this. A nation of rapists, looters and murderers.
