So I've been hacking on #nomo, my templating library. And its starting to take shape!

I'm testing more and more esoteric stuff, and I'm happy with the features I have!

Here's a fairly convoluted example of things one can do:

{{ define "name" }}Hemera{{ end -}}
Hi {{= ({ name } | identity()).name }}!

Where identity is a user-defined function that takes its input and spits it back out again of course :neocat_happy:

I'm also putting a lot of care into the error messages:

error: Tried to apply an argument to a non-function

  │     ━━━━━━━━━━━
  │
  ╰ help: Maybe you forgot to add parentheses?
note: Try adding it

Utilisez un éditeur du type what you see is what you mean, mettez en place de la gestion de version automatique avec git, et sauvegardez des copies ailleurs.

Ce que j'ai fait dans book generator propose ça, avec un tableau de bord HTML de suivi. Mais c'est encore assez niche pour être utilisé par la grande niche des gens qui écrivent sur un ordi.
Un site web permet de faire tout ça mais vous n'avez pas du tout la main sur vos écrits, et vous êtes pistés de plein de façons par des gens qui font des choses atroces.
Breffe, ça vaut le coup d'ecrire localement et de savoir lancer un script, ça vous servira toute votre vie et fera avancer votre émancipation pour de bon.

Und noch etwas Tolles in der Post gehabt. Tochter wollte aufgrund ihrer Laktoseintoleranz keinen Ki****-Schokoladenkalender. Also nach veganen Alternativen geschaut, bei denen man sich nicht den Ar*** abbezahlt. Diese hier sehen vielversprechend aus und haben nur je 8€ gekostet. Depois de quase 2 meses usando a #Nomo (https://www.nomo.com.br/) como operadora, aqui vai uma breve revisão.

(1/2) Fiquei conhecendo a operadora pelo @manualdousuario e logo de cara, a narrativa me pegou: serviço centrado no usuário, com atendimento humano rápido e bom serviço de telefonia/internet móvel. Parecia bom demais para o que estamos acostumados. Por que não tentar?

Conclusão: a #Nomo é um oásis de bom serviço em meio a paisagem desértica da telefonia nacional.

Aí @ghedin , dica do @manualdousuario ! Que seja o início do fim dos monopólios!!

When overstimulation has become a fact of life, I suggest that we reimagine #FOMO as #NOMO, the necessity of missing out, or if that bothers you, #NOSMO, the necessity of sometimes missing out.

That’s a strategic function of nothing, and in that sense, you could file what I’ve said so far under the heading of self-care.
