Can't sleep. It's 3am. Hello #NightCrew. Emotional roller coaster week which I will talk about in October. (so mystery, such unclear).
In the meantime, does anyone have a good recommendation for learning #Japanese #Hirigana and #Katakana? I've learnt most of my 日本語 from Duolingo and everything is very context-specific. I can recognise word shape with context, but struggle to read without.
All the apps I've found so far are really dull flashcard things. Is there something good? Don't mind paid.

Tonight, I’m reading Tamil love #poetry from the ஐங்குறுநூறு or the Aiṅkuṟunūṟu, that literally translates to “five hundred short poems.” Composed sometime in the third century CE, the Aiṅkuṟunūṟu is split into groupings of one hundred, with each group representing a part of the ancient Tamil Nadu landscape—the ocean, arid plains, hill slopes, lush paddy fields, and the forest.
Here’s a short excerpt of a #poem from the ocean grouping, and one of my favorites.
