A moment ago, @SocialGaff said, "Found another one!"

Someone did #Wattsworth dirty.

We'll get them sorted, but it's definitely WTF o'clock here at #ThisOldClownHouse.

Today has been alternating between taming #Wattsworth, and playing a game of trying to guess what is baking in the kitchen of #ThisOldClownHouse by smell alone.

Here's your bizarre item of the day, found while cleaning up after more #Wattsworth wrangling here at #ThisOldClownHouse.

Attention, #Wattsworth fans!

The electric tentacle monster which lives in the walls of #ThisOldClownHouse has been spotted entering a new room.

Soon the library will have working outlets!

#Wattsworth ate a relatively new LED lightbulb recently.

While replacing it, Liam reminded me that part of our (electrical) system was currently ungrounded, and as a result things might burn out faster.

I keep thinking about how this also true outside of the realm of the electrical.

In today's adventures in #ThisOldClownHouse, I cleared an old television out of @SocialGaff's path so he could continue wrestling with one of #Wattsworth's outlets.

I was fully expecting it to be nonfunctional and in need of disposal.

Curiosity got the better of me. :)

Thanks to my trusty old thinkpad's VGA port I got to briefly use the largest possible glass terminal.

Today #Wattsworth decided to slither their powerful electric tentacles away from us, causing a brief power outage to the entire upstairs of #ThisOldClownHouse.

@SocialGaff got his steps in, as he ran full tilt all over the place to find the mystery breaker which had flipped while we were installing a light fixture.

Relatedly, I also need to thank @s0 for recommending that we test our UPS thoroughly.

All's well, and d we'll fix the short after we cool off a bit.

Moving the plot, even if it is by inches, here at #ThisOldClownHouse:

A surprise break in the heat has given us a limited opportunity to attempt a speed run on one of #Wattsworth's many electric tentacles.

@SocialGaff has one hour in the attic before I drag him out and force feed us both iced drinks.

Now that the heat wave has broken here at #ThisOldClownHouse, we're back to spelunking for lightning and wrestling with #Wattsworth.

Today's challenge is more mapping of circuit breakers, so that we only experience the unspiced version of the changing out a light fixture experience.

We assume it's connected somewhere, and we'll find it eventually through following wires, flipping switches, and screaming cheerfully through the floor at each other.

Canonically, #Wattsworth is a positive creature who uses neutral pronouns.

Today in electrical fun times in the upstairs of #ThisOldClownHouse , #Wattsworth has demonstrated a new trick.

Proceeding carefully...

Now that we've acquired enough experience to become overconfident, a plan is hatching to work on multiple upstairs rooms worth of electrical rewiring simultaneously.

I'm hopeful that #Wattsworth will remain a kind and gentle Electric Tentacle Monster as I poke and prod at a half dozen rooms at once, and tug on their collection of ceiling fans, outlets, and switches.

Liam is about be living in the attic. Send kind words his way as we continue to revitalize #ThisOldClownHouse.
