A good battling win tonight for Newcastle United over their visitors from the Midlands, Manchester United. #NEWMUN

This is the third or fourth Newcastle player who has pretended to be injured to waste time. Absolute clown club.
(Newcastle have definitely played better in the second half but they've also definitely been given far too much leeway by Peter Banks. Trippier should have had two yellows at least. Gordon should have had at least one for simulation. PGMOL corruption strikes again. Maybe we should rename it to "PGMOIL" given how shamelessly they favour the petroclubs.)
(Also we really have to get shot of Dalot and Ugarte in the summer.)

What a goal this is! & what a moment for Will Osula. A brilliant solo goal. He has been excellent since he came on.
Trippier sends him down the right, Osula stumbles, takes on his man, comes in on his left foot & curls a lovely finish beyond Lammens.

On the one hand, that double yellow for the Newcastle fella was harsh.
On the other, they've had countless dirty fouls and dissents ignored that should have been yellows (and I don't think they'd have got that penalty if they hadn't just got a red card at the other end - extremely soft and wholly caused by the Newcastle player.)
(But then every Newcastle match should - if the rules were fairly applied - would end up with them only having 9 players on the pitch and Joelinton would be suspended for 3 games out of every 4.)

The thing about playing out from the back (which is stupid and dumb) is that if you lose the ball (and let's face it, some teams do this ALL THE TIME), the opposition are that much closer to your goal for a scoring opportunity. Dumb and stupid.
(Also I wish United's defence were better at understanding the game and not a bunch of workshy ball-watchers who constantly get caught out of position.)
