I was wondering if the current United squad contained any actual EPL winners and after some scraping and parsing, technically no, not in the current squad.
Tom Heaton was in the United squad in 2006 and 2007 but didn't make any appearances and probably doesn't count as an EPL winner. Mount was ostensibly in the 2016 Chelsea squad but also didn't make any appearances.
Which means that this year is the first since 1993 (because obviously the 1992 squad had no EPL winners) that United have no EPL winners in the squad (2024-25 had Jonny Evans and he has 3 bonafide EPL titles.)
