Best new service I've discovered in a while, it bridges your Apple Music play history with Last.fm, without requiring any client apps. This means I can uninstall #Neptunes on my Macs and #QuietScrob on my phone!

This also means I finally have a way to #scrobble the music I listen to on the #Xbox when I'm playing games and listening to music. Previously I had no way to get those plays inserted into my #lastfm history. Now I do!

Lastly, we've got Grupo Delta's 🔱 #Neptunes, who are perhaps the least predictable team of the #COPMUN1906 field.

Not because they lack for genuine talent: any infield with :lnp_navegadores: Kim, Balk and Su is exceedingly capable, and :lnp_cerros: Hein and :lnp_coquis: Kalsakau are great bats to have on your side—if they can put consistent wood on the bat.

That will be necessary, given that some of their most battle-tested pitchers aren't even currently on a major-league roster!

Here's where things get interesting.

To make a square field (4 groups of 4 teams), and in an effort to widen the range of competition, #COPMUN1906 authorities displayed rather surprising foresight and created four regional teams that would allow players without existing national sides to compete.

These four teams, with their rough catchment areas, are listed below:

#Ariel, the M-class #ESA mission (launch 2028), hopes to study a range of exoplanet atmospheres in transmission. What we've learned from #JWST, though, is that most small planets have "flat" spectra. #Neptunes because their atmospheres are dominated by "heavy" volatiles. Earths & #superEarths because they've lost theirs altogether. So if JWST, with a 6.5m mirror, can't see a spectrum, what hope is there for Ariel with only a 1m mirror? My guess is it will become a hot jupiter survey mission.

A rare #planet we discovered a few years back has now given us more insights into the nature of hot #Neptunes. We turned the eye of @ESA_CHEOPS to #LTT9779b, #Cuancoa, and found a world likely covered with metallic clouds, possibly hosting titanium rain!!
