Our power outage area had a status of "work underway" for a while, now it's back to "under investigation and pending assignment." Ugh.

So antsy to have this back up. All similar sized outages were restored, but not ours. No time estimate. 😕 #Nepean #Ottawa

Looks like our power-outage status has changed to "crew assigned" which sounds like progress. I'm off to an appointment, and hope to see power upon my return.

Crazy storm hit just as I was literally getting into bed. Power flashes sent me to check status of house as the wind, rain and hail hit like a wall.

Fight the water off successfully. Thankfully before the power failed in the area.

Not sure how long it'll be out. Used backup power sources enough to finish cleanup and get to bed.

What's that now? Three 100yr storms in six weeks?
