Our next Kiezkantine is coming up!
As always at @szaennesaefkow from 7 pm, on the first Tuesday of the month
Come along and discuss with us police presence, police violence and how we, as a neighbourhood, can take a stand on these issues and independently defend our interests.
With the new gun-free zone at Lichtenberg station and the increased police presence, the debate is reigniting over the role of state authority in our neighbourhoods.
As a socialist neighbourhood organisation, we say:
We should not place our trust in the “friends and helpers” for our safety, as it is often enough they themselves are the source of violence against us.
We want to talk about how we, as an independent neighbourhood, can protect ourselves from police violence whilst also tackling the social problems the state uses to justify a police presence.
