I have been working as a programmer for a long time now, and I have become increasingly critical of the technology and software industry. So much so, in fact, that my fosstodon account is being overrun by the teachings of #NedLudd and that may be unfair to everyone who follows me there for the more technical stuff.

One of my AI fears is that these text churn bots will pretty shortly start breaking the cardinal rules:

* Don't get high on your own supply.
* Don't shit where you eat.

Producing a feedback loop of increasing nonsense by constantly dumping garbage information into the data sets they're drawing from.
