I've volunteered in a research unit related to the IDF for over a year, I've left it after i've learnt about the occupation. I've also learnt about Naza.
When the IAF (Israeli Air Force) bombs in Gaza, it counts the Naza (the amount of innocents who will die)
The average Naza for one airstrike is around 5. This was at the beginning, but the Naza allowed for one airstrike today is way more than that.
Some Naza's were around 100 to 500. They were approved after the government fired the MAG (Military Advocate General).
In 2023, Israel killed the Hamas operative Ayman Nafal with Naza 300 (300 innocents killed) Just for comparison, the Naza US approved to kill Osama Bin Laden was only 30, and it's usually limited only for 1 to 5.

La question n’est pas de savoir si le ministre israélien de la Culture a raison d’appeler à la révocation de la nationalité de Rachel et Yuval, mais bien que les règles d’engagement extrêmement laxistes de l’armée israélienne ont entraîné une destruction massive de vies innocentes à travers Gaza pendant plus de deux ans – une destruction qui se poursuit encore aujourd’hui.
Il ne s’agit pas de savoir si le film doit être écarté parce que ses créateurs sont israéliens, mais bien du fait que des familles palestiniennes entières ont été anéanties d’un simple clic, tandis que des villes étaient rasées, que l’aide alimentaire était bloquée et que le système de santé était en ruines.
C’est qu’une guerre d’extermination a été menée par notre gouvernement et que ce sont les citoyens ordinaires qui en ont payé – et continuent d’en payer – le prix le plus élevé.

Yuval Abraham, einer der beiden Regisseure des Films, sagte bei der Pressekonferenz, mehrere der Interviewten hätten diesen Vergleich gezogen. Abraham ist israelischer Jude. Er entstamme einer Familie von Holocaustüberlebenden, sagte er. Natürlich seien die Shoah und das, was in Gaza geschehe, nicht dasselbe. Aber es gebe ein gemeinsames Element, nämlich das der Entmenschlichung. Die solle der Film zeigen. Er reflektiere „die Dunkelheit, in der wir alle leben.“

Der Mann bejaht, ohne zu zögernGefilmt wurden die Interviews auf dem Dach eines Hochhauses in Tel Aviv bei Nacht, unterbrochen von Einstellungen der schlafenden Stadt, aufgenommen mit Teleobjektiven. Menschen und flimmernde Fernseher sind hinter den Fenstern von Hochhäusern zu sehen, Reklametafeln, das fließende Licht des Straßenverkehrs am Boden. Die Stille nimmt den Horror in sich auf.…‘

«Naza» è la parola con cui l’esercito israeliano indica le «vittime collaterali» a Gaza, intere famiglie palestinesi che possono essere uccise per colpire un obiettivo strategico, quasi sempre un miliziano di Hamas nella propria casa. Se poi è lì davvero, o se è il target giusto poco importa, e tantomeno è in questione la morte di innocenti. C’è anzi un numero di «Naza» permesso che si alza secondo il grado di importanza del nemico da colpire: per gli «junior» può essere venti, per le gerarchie anche illimitato. A spiegarlo con precisione sono i militari dell’intelligence israeliana, corpi speciali che da remoto hanno messo in pratica quella macchina dello sterminio capillare, costruita e rodata negli anni dallo stato di Israele grazie alla tecnologia, a cui oggi l’Intelligenza artificiale offre una strumentazione ancora più feroce. E che dopo l’attacco del 7 ottobre è stata portata a una piena realizzazione.«Naza» diventa infatti man mano che la guerra va avanti un concetto che dimentica gli obiettivi militari, i terroristi, Hamas, e indica invece la sola volontà di uccidere il numero più alto di palestinesi possibile: uccidere per uccidere con l’indifferenza di una totale disumanizzazione – «era come un videogame» dicono i militari dell’Idf – che per alcuni è addirittura un «divertimento», l’eccitazione orgogliosa dello scopo di odio e vendetta raggiunti. Sembra un’allucinazione dell’orrore, è la realtà in atto.
A RACCOGLIERE le parole di questi militari, uomini e donne sono Yuval Abraham e Rachel Szor, i due autori israeliani di No Other Land realizzato insieme ai palestinesi Basel Adra e Hamdan Ballal. Naza, il documentario presentato ieri in concorso alla Mostra di Venezia sarà nelle nostre sale il 28-29-30 settembre: «È molto importante avere la distribuzione in Italia perché come ben sappiamo è uno dei pochi paesi in Europa insieme alla Germania che blocca le sanzioni contro Israele e anche la fine dell’accordo commerciale che c’è tra Stati Uniti e Israele», spiega Yuval Abraham.
Naza lavora su una serie di testimonianze pubblicate già su Local Call, +972 Magazine e sul quotidiano inglese The Guardian, che ha prodotto il film insieme al regista Jonathan Glazer e a James Wilson. Ascoltarle però da chi ha compiuto queste azioni muta la nostra prospettiva. Per la prima volta non siamo cioè testimoni di quanto accade a Gaza, ma ci troviamo all’interno di un sistema del fascismo quotidiano che agghiaccia, ed è chi commette il genocidio a dirne il funzionamento senza rimorsi né particolari emozioni.
Un momento di “Naza”
Ci sono alcune parole ricorrenti nei racconti dei militari che rivendicano il loro status elitario e di sinistra. Una è «pulizia»: dovevamo pulire, ripetono. Così dopo avere ucciso a distanza, chi era sul campo bruciava le case in modo da cancellare qualsiasi traccia dei palestinesi, delle loro esistenze, della loro memoria. L’altra, ovviamente, è «uccidere». Ci dicono come sparavano alle persone che correvano verso il cibo, osservandole cadere in remoto, mentre le mani tracciano il disegno dei corpi che crollano. O spiegano quelle linee mai tracciate che i palestinesi senza saperne l’esistenza non dovevano superare. Un bambino che si è avvicinato è stato ucciso senza ragione, il corpo mangiato dai cani, ma Gaza dicono ancora «è piena di corpi».IL PROGRAMMA Lavender, tecnologia raffinata al servizio delle pulizia etnica, utilizza i telefoni dei palestinesi per entrare nelle loro vite prima di spezzarle, costruisce un algoritmo delle possibili connessioni o complicità dove il margine di errore è sempre molto largo. Dentro di esso anche frasi innocue assumono un diverso significato, se una bambina dice «papà è a casa» significa che è un terrorista e l’intera famiglia, forse il palazzo saranno rasi al suolo. Se chiede alla madre quando rientra, lo stesso. Gli archivi ci mostrano però che questa sorveglianza risale almeno al 1967, grazie al controllo di Israele su chi garantiva le infrastrutture a Gaza (come la telefonia) in una storia che ha sempre cancellato dalla Nakba in poi la presenza palestinese, a Tel Aviv ne è rimasta traccia solo in una casa.
GLI INCONTRI sono girati di notte, un cartello iniziale ci dice che i volti e le voci delle persone intervistate sono stati modificati per proteggere l’anonimato. Abraham ascolta, pone domande. Intanto le finestre dei palazzi ci rimandano la vita nelle case di Tel Aviv: la tv con la propaganda sempre in onda, una mano che raccoglie le briciole della cena, una coppia su un divano, qualcuno che legge. In basso i locali sono pieni di gente, il traffico luminoso scorre sul lungomare, l’eco delle bombe arriva da lontano: «Il mio ruolo è tecnico, non è prevista una posizione morale» risponde uno dei militari a Abraham. E in questa frase affiora il senso del sentimento di un intero Paese, la stessa quieta indifferenza, la narrazione di un essere vittima in quello skyline che dista solo sessanta chilometri da Gaza e dal genocidio, al cui centro risiedono i palazzi dell’intelligence. Possibile? In strada si celebra la Giornata della memoria, la cineteca di Tel Aviv propone Shoah di Lanzmann. Il riferimento all’Olocausto e ai nazisti torna in diverse dichiarazioni dei soldati, del resto è un elemento fondante di quella società – insieme ai miti biblici – che Netanyahu ha strumentalizzato dal 7 ottobre con spudoratezza, quasi a legittimarvi il proprio agire, opponendo l’antisemitismo alle critiche alla sua politica.
«PENSO ancora che i nazisti siano il male, ma io allora chi sono?» si chiede uno degli intervistati. Ci vuole molto coraggio a porre come fa il film questi interrogativi alla società israeliana (e non solo). «Primo Levi ha parlato di disumanizzione, di un essere umano che diventa non umano. Ci sono tante differenze, naturalmente, tra l’Olocausto e quello che succede a Gaza, ma una cosa coerente in questi casi è la questione della responsabilità e della giustizia che è fondamentale per poter andare avanti. Rispettare la memoria dell’Olocausto significa rafforzare la nostra fiducia nei diritti umani e nell’empatia nei confronti delle altre persone» dice Abraham. E questo film le impone a chi distoglie lo sguardo, opponendosi a quella normalizzazione del genocidio con domande che si continuano a evitare. «Naza», tecniche di genocidio spiegate dagli esecutori | il manifesto
