  1. So fed up of petty annoyances.

I decided to switch my current account to the #Nationwide A supposedly smooth procedure using an automated service.

It’s supposed to take place on the 9th but I still haven’t received a card. Contacted the ‘new’ company today, was told the card was requested on the 1st and should take 5 working days to arrive. Then the person corrected themselves and said 10 working days.

Why then did they offer a switch date of the 9th if a card can’t be processed by that date? Do they assume customers will just put up with bad/incompetent/inept service? Why wouldn’t I want my card so that my banking needs can be continuously serviced?

Is this just me…? (Don’t answer that question, I’ll probably be angry…)

Why is every little task such a pain…? Nothing goes smoothly these days. GAH!

  3. A federal judge in California on Tues issued a #nationwide block against the #Trump admin’s policy of #arrests at #ImmigrationCourts….

Last year, #ICE began detaining #immigrants in #courthouse hallways across the country, sometimes moments after pleading their cases. The move raised alarm among attorneys & advocates who said the practice was turning #immigration courts from places of #DueProcess into zones of fear & punishing people who were following the rules.
