True - but unfashionable as it is to credit mad #Nads for anything, in 1997 her predecessor's majority was just over 7000, in 2001 just over 8000 before she took over & grew majority to 12, 15, then 23 thousand over successive elections
Many vote for notoriety regardless of merit
The seat is winnable in a by-election by #labour with a fair wind - but unlikely to be retained in #2024GE
