Watched both games and the umpiring for both was an absolute fucking disgrace..
As a Victory supporter glad we got through but had to wonder at times if the refs had been given some higher directives about who should get through to the grand final.
Izzo once again our saviour. The thunderbolt from Traore had me scaring the family and pets.Can understand why people are ambivalent to it in Australia, Victory/Wellington game pushed to pay tv. FFA need to take the A-League back off the bunch of incompetent clowns running it

I totally agree, have been a #MVFC paid member since 2005, this year I won’t be renewing mine or my families. The sheer idiocy and implied violence that goes with being at a home game is to much.
The FFA and A-leagues inability to police these Yobos and it’s dismal performance of leveraging the Mens WC appearances is there for all to see.
The Matilda’s managed all this without the FFA and A-league by playing amazing football that makes you want to watch.
FFA will take their cut though and funnel most of it to the men. -

From the footage I’ve seen, in my opinion Melbourne City goalkeeper Tom Glover’s actions of throwing a flare INTO the crowd, contributed to the crowd coming onto the pitch. He should never have done that when he could have just tossed it off the pitch. #ALeague #Melbourne #MCFC #MVFC

As someone who was a part of the 2nd and 3rd biggest A-league grand finals at docklands, all I can say is that this is a bloody disgrace and Di Pietro should quit as Melbourne Victory Chairperson. Again he has shown he is more interested in his personal corporate profile than MVFC. 17 years a member and seriously considering ditching it after this betrayal.
