Massacre Girl was a removal magnet - Wither did come up a bit, but I think I drew two cards over nine games? Got a lot of use out of Teysa, though, and drew Murder and enough biggish flyers to eventually lumber over the line. Got to target my own Due Diligence-enchanted Absolving Lammasu with Soul Enervation to dodge an opponent's Make Your Move, which felt nice. #mtgarena #MTGMKM

I did my first draft of #MTGMKM last night on arena. Went 6-3 with a Boros deck featuring Krenko, Meddling Youths, and Aurelia.
The real stars were Goblin Maskmaker on turn one, a disguised creature or Red Herring on turn 2, and Due Diligence on turn 3.

Two matches in this week's #MidweekMagic so far, which is Jump Into Murders at Karlov Manor. I tried out Gadgets (UR) plus Evidence (UG). Two very easy wins! 😀

Number of times I've thrown a game by forgetting disguised creatures have Ward: 1I'm not gonna lie, I think tracking these two stats going forward is going to be pretty damning for me.

Off-color instant-speed card draw with a creature/artifact sac outlet in Standard/Modern metas where "useless" artifacts are plentiful and Rakdos mechanics are overrepresented? Yeah, this card's not staying at $0.20. This has "Deadly Dispute-esque price spike" written all over it...
At some point, it will spike to $1.50-$2.00. Long-term, it will settle in around $1.00. It's sure as heck not a bulk common, though.

3-0’d my final prerelease with a super sweet Black green ramp deck. Izoni is great, but have you ever cast Death Cloud in sealed? It’s an experience.

Had a blast at the #MTGMKM Pre-release tonight. I played Blue/White detectives and boy do those sleuths synergize.
Jaded Analyist was my stand-out common, showing up almost every game on-curve. Pop a Thinking Cap on him then start saccing clues and he delivers a beating.
Went 1-2 after my opponent in round three had removal on hand to deal with my three bombs on consecutive turns 😭

Today's #MTGMKM spoilers have me thinking about thrulls.
Endrik Sahr's mono-black thrulls broke their chains, ate their master, and basicaly devestated an entire continent.
The Orzhov's Black/White thrulls are peaceful productive members of an admittedly fucked up society.
From this I feel safe to conclude that there's a Thrull Union on Ravnica, that negotiates fair working conditions for thrulls. White mana makes all the difference. -
When they said #MTGMKM wasn't a normal Ravnica set, and that the guilds weren't the focus, I tempered my expectations. But they just keep body-slamming me with pitch perfect Ravnica callbacks. A Hunted creature that's a backwards Disguise payoff?!
