The adventure begins. LGW✈️RIX. I’ve warned #MikroTik we’re coming. Seems they’re taking the weekend off (probably an excuse to hide from us) to celebrate some ancient pagan thing related to Midsummer instead. Can’t blame them though. I would. If I wasn’t working. 😆 7 days BootCamp on #MTCWE #MTCEWE and #CAPsMAN WIFI-6 Deep Dive. Training in the best location possible. MikroTik’s own RouterOS Training Centre in Riga.

Our annual #MikroTik BootCamp training event of the year is in just two weeks time! I’ll be delivering the #MTCWE and #MTCEWE as well as an extra deep dive session day on the improvements 802.11ax brings as well as how #CAPsMAN handles this new hardware especially as it’s very confusing right now. (Also taking a peek at 802.11be although sadly no MikroTik hardware available yet) Have I finished the slide deck? Of course not! Am I ready? Not yet but I’m on track to get everything done in time. 🤞

Really looking forward to going to Riga again in June for the #MikroTik BootCamp Training week. Within one week of registration opening we already filled two classes (#MTCEWE and #MTCSWE) which is great but it would be cool to get more students on the others like #MTCNA, #MTCSE, #MTCRE and #MTCINE. Also our #DeepDives are turning out to be popular where we will teach more about the new v7 features and the new 802.11ax(/be?) wireless CAPsMAN. http://mikrotik.camp

Hollywood actress Hedy Lamarr died 24 years ago on 19th January 2000. Her greatest film was Samson and Delilah in 1949. But what’s that got to do with my interest in radio though? During WWII with her friend George Antheil they invented spread spectrum frequency hopping by using a paper piano roll! Like as used in the original FHSS 802.11 WiFi and modern day Bluetooth. In 1998 the Wi-LAN company even bought a 49% share in the pair’s original patent. (They own a lot of WiFi patents) #MTCEWE #MTPC
