My brother & I would watch #MontyPython on the B&W TV w/rabbit ears, "late night" #PublicTelevision.
What a legacy from Cleese, so many shows and films, such a body of work for him to destroy. He could keep quiet, but no.
The more he claims he is not #racist, but that he judges other #cultures as inferior, the more he boasts about his #racism.
He's said that "London doesn't feel English" any longer, which is a #DogWhistle for #WhiteSupremacists.

This was pretty weak.
Have any other Pythons written about the origins of the show? It's such a huge jump above the immediate precursors (1948, Do Not Adjust, etc.), I'm really curious about how that happened.
(Wild tangent: Harpo Marx's autobiography is FANTASTIC. Well, the last few chapters are too focused on celebrity gossip, but still. KILLER.)
