Moe's Southwest Grill for lunch.
Even having to pay full price like I did today, it's not bad. Very enjoyable. They primarily make big burritos but will put it in a bowl upon request. I had the tofu burrito bowl.
The place was very busy plus tons of heavily laden carts going out the front door for catering. The capacity of the place is amazing. They must have gotten there at 6 in the morning.

Recently I discovered my MOES BHT ZigBee thermostats absolutely FLOOD the ZigBee airwaves. I have 6 (six) of them in the network and already messages from other devices get drowned out.
Apparently, this https://github.com/slacky1965/tuya_thermostat_zrd?tab=readme-ov-file alternate firmware fixes the issue. I'll try it when I'm not under time pressure (vacation coming up) so mid-January.

Zigbee ist schon ganz nett. Aber warum in Drei-Teufels-Namen sind die Hersteller nicht in der Lage, ihre Wandtaster im üblichen Rasterformat für gängige Mehrfachrahmen zu produzieren?
Gira kann das, aber dafür machen die ihren Zicken-Bienen-Produkte auch fast doppelt so teuer wie z.B. EQ3 ihre HomaticIP Taster.
Warum kann das z.B. Moes nicht? Oder die anderen meist chinesischen Hersteller. Der Chinamann kopiert doch sonst auch ohne mit der Wimper zu zucken. Warum nicht hier? Auch Shelly (die ich eigentlich wegen des IP-Adress-Verbrauchs nicht weiter verfolge) kann nicht das 55-mm-Maß. Warum nicht? Ich will das teure HomematicIP mit ihrem Scheiss Duty-Cycle nicht mehr. Aber wenn ich die Taster nicht ins Gira-Rahmen-Format bekomme, bleibt einem Final ja nichts anderes übrig.
Was mache ich nun mit dem Moes Star Ring Scene Switch? Den in FHEM einzubinden war tatsächlich echt leicht. Und mit dem 4-Fach-Taster kann ich jetzt 8 Dinge schalten (eigentlich 12, aber bei meiner nicht vorhandenen Geduld drück ich eine Taste nicht 5 Sekunden, um eine Aktion auszulösen).

I’m knackered… First the school, bicycle in the cold, then work, after work there’s kids and Peter’s climbing and after that I had to pick the rest of the family up from a kids party. I was late everywhere the whole goddamn day, and just got home now…😔
On the other hand, #Sonoff #Zigbee usb dongle arrived and 2 #Moes light switches work like a charm with #HomeAssistant. 🥸
Of course hammer and chisel had to be involved, because the second electrical box was as shitty as the first one…😂

Not only we don’t have a neutral wire in our electrical installation, but there are also non-standard round aluminium electrical boxes… One would be ok, but I assume they’re all like that…🤦🏻♂️
The #Moes AliExpress #Zigbee switch obviously didn’t fit in it, so I had to use some force and tools to make the box bigger…🥸💥 Hammer and chisel…🥰🙄
At least the switch looks ok and works… Now, if only I’ve ordered a Zigbee USB dongle to test it with #HomeAssistant…🤡😅

Another day, another #Zigbee device tried with my test setup and it integrates into #HomeAssistant with good results.
This one is a #Tuya - #MOES co-branded touch switch which seemed to integrate easily. Pretty smooth. (Using a Sonoff Zigbee 3.0 stick for the hub and ZHA.)
I'm pretty sold on using Zigbee wherever I can at this point, based on the smooth results across brands.

Ok. Ich bin grad ziemlich begeistert von dem #zigbee Heizungsthermostat von #Sonoff. Als Ersatz für ein nicht funktionierendes von #Moes.
Anschrauben, drücken und im #Zigbee2mqtt verbunden. Perfekt und ohne Schnickschnack. Und sogar billiger meine ehemalige Empfehlung.
