📈Mobile: high of 87° today, which breaks the old record of 86° set back in 1966 & tied in 2017.
📈Pensacola: high of 86° today, which breaks the old record of 84° set back in 2012.

Scattered to numerous showers & storms will develop across the area ahead of a cold front today. A few storms could become severe with damaging winds & large hail the main concerns. The severe threat ends from NW to SE over the area late this AM through this afternoon. #mobwx

⛈️3/27 6 AM Update: Another day another round of isolated strong to severe storms possible. Overall the threat is much lower than yesterday; however, a damaging wind gust and hail up to quarter sized cannot be ruled out. Storms will likely occur close to the coast today. #mobwx

In addition to the ongoing severe threat, there is an elevated threat of flash flooding across interior portions of southwest AL/southeast MS tonight with a more limited threat further south. 2-4" of rain could fall in a short period of time, especially north of US Hwy 84. #mobwx
